I “said” I was about to pull the trigger on one a couple of times, but this time I did.
The next thing I’ll be getting is the “dock” for it and a sleeve.
I didn’t think I would miss my Asus TF300T but I do. The granddaughter cracked the screen and the touch sensors no longer work and to get it fixed, the screen is going to be $148 + whatever for labor – about $50/hour. It’s cheaper just to get another tablet instead.
I’ve heard a Lot of good things about the Nexus 7. I just hope they were all true. At least now I’ll have something to take with me.
I know this model doesn’t have a rear-facing camera but to be honest, I never really used the one on the TF300t either. I did you the front-facing one for skyping with my wife and granddaughter though so I will still be able to do that when I go off on overnight trips.
